Here is the video update from Vicente Guerrero BC Mexico. We are so grateful for your prayers and generosity. We are 24 hours away from turning over the keys to Olivia and her family!
On behalf of our Mexico mission team, thank you for your prayers. Pastor Bryan and other team members arrived safely in Vicente Guerrero, BC Mexico. They will be constructing a home w/ YWAM over the next 5 days for a single mom and her children. This Sunday is the Community Festival and Easter Egg Hunt at Wildwood Park in Chico from 12:30-2:30pm. We have over 10,000 eggs, the Easter Bunny and we will raffle a Nintendo Switch at 2:25pm. This is one event you won’t want to miss. Bring your friends and give them an event to remember!
Equipment is on property to begin the connection to city sewer. So much activity is happening on campus that our system can’t handle the load. Thank God for city sewer!
Who is going to join us for our summer Mexico Mission Trip from June 9-15?! Travel to Mexico, build a home and change a life. That is what you will experience when you join us. MONTHLY PRAYER DAY! As part of Butte County Prays, Grace Community Church is invited to pray today as our assigned day of prayer. Here are things we encourage you to cover in part or whole during your time of prayer: GENERAL PRAYER Church •Pray for the pastoral staff and leaders in your church/ministry, that God would refresh their minds, bodies, and emotions. •Pray for Churches to look past our differences and look to the things that unite us, that is Jesus is the Son of God who takes away the sin’s of the world, and He alone is the only way to the Father. •Pray that a “spirit of prayer” would fall in and on your church/ministry and on all followers of Jesus in our County. •Pray for supernatural Favor as we plan County Wide gatherings for followers of Jesus. Health •Pray for a miraculous ending to the flu season •Pray for healthcare workers that are Christians that they would be filled with boldness to pray with each other and for their patients. •Pray for grace and peace as Enloe and other medical providers are needing to accommodate more patients. Government •Pray that cities across Butte County would continue to have concern for one another and that they would work together for the common good of all citizens. •Pray that Local and State officials would be filled with Godly Wisdom and Revelation in regards to decision making. •Pray for all first responders including but not limited to: Police, Fire, and EMT’s. •Every time you here a “siren” pray for those responding, the victims, and all involved. Pray for a Spirit of Wisdom and Discernment that all parties would respond rightly and in the most effective way. Family •Pray that God would deliver men and women from addictions (ex: pornography, alcohol, illegal/prescription drugs) •Pray that men and women would raise up their children in the way that they should go so that they do not depart from it. •Pray for a “spirit of adoption” to be raised up in the Church, that the Church would be the answer to children not having parents or loving homes to grow up in. •Pray for an increase in adoptions and decrease in numbers of those who need foster care/or adoption. Education •Pray that students would become convicted of sin and turn to Jesus. •Pray that students and educators would be filled with a boldness to represent Jesus and Biblical Morality. •Pray for favor towards Christian Clubs and Groups to be raised up in all our schools. •Pray specifically for the school that is closest to your home or work if you do not have a child or grandchild in school. Media/Arts •Pray for believers in the workplace, that they would be salt and light to those around them. •Pray that News would be reported with integrity and truth. •Pray for Favor for Christian Artists to be able to express themselves and their faith throughout our community. Business •Pray for Christian Business’ to prosper, that it would be an opportunity to witness to other business owners. Agriculture •Pray for no freezes so that the Almond Blooms would not be in jeopardy. •Pray for rain, but that it would come at the perfect time and perfect amount (no standing water in orchards)Social Services•Pray for supernatural ideas, wisdom, and revelation for solutions to the homelessness issues facing our cities. CAMP FIRE SPECIFIC Churches •Pray that the Church of Butte County would continue to minister in Love to those displaced and affected. •Pray that Unity amongst churches and ministries would remain and continue to be a priority, that they might all work together with the common goal of serving our communities. Housing •Pray for supernatural wisdom as FEMA, OES, and Local Agencies work together to find the best place for temporary housing and that implementation would happen in record time. •Pray for private landowners to be willing and able to donate use of their land. •Pray for supernatural re-building for the towns of Magalia, Paradise, and Concow. Resources •Pray for resources to continue to pour into our county to help with recovery. •Pray that all monies will be used wisely and will not be mismanaged or stolen. •Pray for supernatural multiplication of resources that are coming into our county. •Pray that new jobs will spring up for evacuees that lost their employment. Government •Pray for continued support from the Federal Government and Agencies. •Pray for continued support from State Government and Agencies. •Pray that bureaucracy and politics will not get in the way of needs being met. •Pray for Paradise City Council and City Staff to be given Supernatural Wisdom and Revelation as they continue to plan what rebuilding of the city looks like. •Pray for Chico and Oroville City Council and City Staff to have supernatural ideas on how to best accommodate and serve all those who have been displaced. Education •Pray for teachers and staff that they would be able to continue their job with excellence in teaching students but also being sensitive to the emotional needs of the students. •Pray for those who are supposed to be graduating, that they would be able to learn and retain all that is necessary for them to be successful beyond graduation. •Pray for wisdom and insight as the School Districts look at the upcoming school years and what it will look like. Insurance •Pray that Insurance will have their customer’s best interest in mind. •Pray that any and all appeals to insurance companies will be met with compassion. Rebuilding •Pray for supernatural rebuild times for homes and business. •Pray for the influx of money to help rebuild infrastructure. •Pray that lots will be cleaned faster than expected to allow rebuilding. •Pray that re-building costs will not become inflated.•Pray for supernatural solutions to issues regarding: water, sewer, and all infrastructure.
